Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings you make with us over the phone, via email, in-person or online. We will rely on the authority of the person making the booking to act on behalf of any other traveller on the booking and that person will bind all such travellers to these Terms and Conditions.

Prices: All rates are quoted in AUD and are inclusive of GST (Goods & Services Tax).  Our ABN number is 92 648 196 285All prices are subject to availability.

Deposit & Payment: Your credit card details are required to confirm your booking and will be securely stored in our reservations booking system. Please note that your credit card details are taken as a guarantee of your booking. 

Full payment will automatically be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your arrival. Most major credit cards are accepted. 

*Special Event Packages (eg Chefs Table Event): To secure space on one of our exclusive events, we require a non-refundable deposit of $1500 per tent.

Amendment and Cancellation Conditions: Notice of amendments or cancellations must be provided in writing.  There are no refunds for Accommodation or Fully Inclusive Packages identified as non-refundable. We will do our best to secure another booking to reduce or avoid the need for cancellation charges, whenever possible.  Rescheduling will be subject to the Amendment and Cancellation Conditions.

Amendments

  • All amendments to Fully Inclusive Packages under 30 days prior to arrival will incur an amendment fee of $60 per Package, in addition to any fees imposed by Third Party Suppliers.
  • Guests are encouraged to choose dates and times of Third Party Supplied Tours, Shows or Activities with care to avoid incurring amendment fees.
  • Rangelands Outback Camp reserves the right to cancel or alter itineraries as deemed necessary. Tour operation or alterations to itineraries may occur due to road or weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, accommodation availability and/or other factors. Accommodation will be of a similar or better standard if a change is required, whenever possible.

Cancellations

  • Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival – no penalty^
  • Bookings cancelled between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival – 50% penalty^
  • Bookings cancelled under 14 days prior to arrival – no refund
  • No shows – no refund

^Please note:  Special Event Package deposits already processed are non-refundable.  Refunds for third party supplied flight, tour, show or activity costs are subject to the third party supplier’s cancellation policy.

COVID-Related Cancellations: If you are unable to travel as a direct result of border closures or Government imposed travel restrictions that directly impact your booking, Rangelands Outback Camp will allow you to change your booking dates (subject to availability) for no penalty, or refund the full value of the booking, less any third-party related charges.

Travel Insurance: Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance prior to travel.

Force Majeure Event: If your booking is cancelled or is not able to be taken due to a Force Majeure Event (as defined below), Rangelands Outback Camp will offer you a FULL refund less any unrecoverable costs (including but not limited to recoveries from third party suppliers and any other costs incurred to sell the package). Force Majeure Event includes, but is not limited to, any act of, event or cause including floods, earthquakes, fires, lightning, storms or other acts of God, industrial disputes, breakage of machinery, or arising out of any other unexpected and exceptional cause, delays in transport and dispositions or orders of Governmental authority which prevents a trip to commence, continue or be completed.

General: These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time and are subject to change at our complete discretion without further notice to you.

Late Check-Out: Late check-outs are subject to availability upon request. Please contact one of the team to check availability. Additional fees may be applied. 

Guarantee Policy: A valid Credit Card is required at time of booking.

No Party Policy: For the benefit of all guests, Rangelands Outback Camp has a strict no party policy. In the event that any tent/guest is identified as having a party, the property reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the tent to vacate the premises. In addition, the registered guests will be required to settle the account prior to departure for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the tent, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

Identification: Upon arrival Guests may be asked to provide valid photographic identification for security purposes. The booking must be under the name of the person checking in. 

Child Policy: Rangelands Outback Camp is an Adult-only retreat.  All guests must be over 18 years of age.

Special Requests: We will make all attempts to satisfy special requests, however cannot guarantee.

Dietary Requirements: Any requests for special dietary requirements need to be advised at time of booking. Due to our off-grid remote location we have had to implement a responsible policy for catering to dietary allergies. As such we can accommodate those dietary requirements that do not challenge our kitchen and food suppliers. IMPORTANT NOTE: Given that we are not a 100% GF restaurant, we are unable to guarantee guests with Coeliac disease that there will be no cross contamination of Gluten. Please inform our team at time of booking if you suffer from any food allergies to ensure that your health and well-being needs are met.

Mobile Reception/Communication: Whilst we encourage guests to unplug and unwind during their stay, we recognise the need to remain connected with family and friends.  Telstra 3G/4G service is available in most locations within the camp.  We can also offer guests use of the camp phone when required.  

No-Shows / Failure to Cancel: Each booking at Rangelands Outback Camp is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a 100% penalty charge. If guests choose to shorten their stay or check out early, no refund applies.

Limitation of Liability : Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, Rangelands Outback Camp, both for itself and on behalf of their employees or agents, do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their employees or agents for injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods whatsoever.  They shall not be held responsible for indirect damage, damage arising from consequential damage or special circumstances, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity, arisen out of the performance or non-performance of obligations under this Terms and Conditions.

Rangelands Outback Camp provides such links only as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by Rangelands Outback Camp of the linked website or any information contained in it.

Health: You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to your travel.

Smoking: All tents and communal property facilities are non-smoking.

Room Servicing: Our luxury tents are serviced daily.

Pet Policy: Due to the rural location of Rangelands on working station, no pets are permitted.
